Michael Tushaus embarks on a new album with prolific force. This first volume of a double album introduces an array of styles that fall in the realm of Symphonic/Electronic music. Each track pulls from a colorful palette of sounds including strings, brass, drum kits, synthesizers, and effects. Though many pieces are aimed for use in film and television, every piece can stand on its own, and can score anything from a workout at the gym to meditation and yoga at home, and even to live theatrical productions.
The album was named Symphony Cake, 1) for its play on words of course, but 2) for the idea of such a cake. It is painstakingly made with several layers, colors, and flavors. Much like a Symphony Cake, this album will allow the listener to taste each and every piece and come away from the experience with their bellies fuller.
